I have spent the past three years lost in the wonderful chaos of motherhood and also continually pouring my heart and soul into my creative passions late at night while the rest of the world sleeps. My children have sparked massive inspiration and magic within my craft, and it is they who have helped me create my most meaningful work yet. I have been writing a Children's Book called Little Wild Wonders, and I am absolutely thrilled that I will be able to share it with the world this coming October. Almost all of the critters that you find on this page are woven into this charming story that takes readers on an adventure around the world. Through the stunning imagery and playful prose of the book, one can not help but feel connected to the underlying message of needing to protect our animal friends, as well as to help heal the planet and make changes that will secure its future for all generations to come. I could not possibly be any happier with how it has all come together, and I am bursting at the seams to share my creation with you fellow nature lovers!
A Kickstarter self publishing campaign will be launched late July, so if you would like to reserve a signed copy of the book then please join our mailing list below and you will be notified of all the details when they become available!
I am a mother, a painter, a wife and an author. I first picked up a paintbrush in 2008, and I have been teaching myself the intricate, challenging and souldeep world of self expression ever since. With my wildlife pieces, I live to capture the spirit with each stroke of my brush, and I will not stop painting until there is a soul staring back at me on the canvas. My landscapes are extensions of distant memories, and I try to paint them so that one can almost feel the fresh air as it drifts off of the piece. It is such a wonderful feeling being able to paint as a full time profession, and having it weave itself so effortlessly into the fabric of raising our two young boys is something that I will forever be grateful for.
Each and every painting that I have completed can be found in homes and private collections all across this beautiful globe. Having no formal training in my craft, I am so deeply moved that this is the case. I currently work out of Alberta, Canada where I live with my wonderful husband, and our two incredible boys.
